Virtual Parking Permits Now Available for Central Ave and Quackenbush Lots

The Albany Parking Authority is excited to announce that our New Virtual Parking Permits are now available for purchase for both our Central Avenue and Quackenbush Parking Lots.
With the introduction of these new virtual permits, monthly parkers for both the Central Avenue and Quackenbush Parking Lots will no longer be required the use hang-tags and instead, the permit holders’ vehicle information and their license plate number will be used to confirm that parkers have a valid parking permit for their parking location.
As a part of this change to Virtual Lot Permits, monthly parking for both Central Avenue and Quackenbush Lots will no longer be sold on a month-by-month basis, instead all Lot Permits will be sold as a monthly recurring subscription, auto renewing on the 25th of each month. This process is similar to how parking passes for ParkAlbany garages work and helps ensure that there is no disruption to a permit holders’ access to their monthly parking location.
Existing Central Avenue and Quackenbush Lot Customers:
Customers who had an active parking permit for either the Central Avenue or Quackenbush Parking Lots in March 2024 were previously sent instruction to their on-file email address with instruction on how to login into their new monthly parking permit account and how to update their vehicle and payment information. Please Note: Customers who have already paid for parking for beyond March 2024 will see a credit applied to their account for those months.
