Emergency No Parking Notices for the 2022 Albany Tulip Festival

Please be advised of the following temporary parking restrictions and road closures in Albany NY for the 2022 Albany Tulip Festival.
Street Scrubbing Parking Restrictions:
Friday, May 6 from 9:30am to 12:30pm
Parking Restrictions:
State Street (Both Sides) between Eagle Street and Lodge Street.
Tulip Festival Parking Restrictions:
Friday, May 6th from 6:00am until Sunday, May 8th
Parking Restrictions:
Washington Park Road (East Side) from Hudson Avenue north 6 spaces.
Washington Park Road (Both Sides) from New Scotland Avenue to Lake Avenue.
Saturday, May 7th from 12:01am until Sunday, May 8th at 8:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
Washington Park (ALL ROADWAYS) including Henry Johnson Boulevard.
Saturday, May 7th AND Sunday, May 8th from 6:00am to 6:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
Englewood Place (Both Sides) from Western Avenue to the dead end.
Thurlow Terrace (Both Sides) from Western Avenue to the dead end.
Saturday, May 7th at 6:00am until Sunday, May 8th at 8:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
Elk Street (Both Sides) 3 spaces west of Eagle Street.
Elk Street (North Side) 3 spaces west of Hawk Street.
Madison Avenue (North Side) 2 spaces west of Grand Street.
Madison Avenue (North Side) from the bus stop east of New Scotland Avenue east 12 spaces.
State Street (South Side) 4 spaces west of Henry Johnson Boulevard.
South Pearl Street (West Side) 2 spaces south of State Street.
Road Closures for Tulip Festival:
Friday, May 6th from 6:00am until Sunday, May 8th
Roads Affected:
Washington Park Road from New Scotland Avenue to South Lake Avenue.
Saturday, May 7th AND Sunday, May 8th from 6:00am to 6:00pm
Roads Affected:
Englewood Place from Western Avenue to the dead end.
Saturday, May 7th from 12:01am to Sunday, May 8th at 8:00pm
Roads Affected:
ALL ROADS IN WASHINGTON PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC.

Lancaster Street between Lark Street and Willett Street.
Hudson Avenue between Lark Street and Willett Street.
Willett Street between Madison Avenue and State Street.
Henry Johnson Boulevard between Western Avenue and State Street.
State Street between Robin Street and Lark Street.
Shuttles and Resident Parking Information:
Parking in the vicinity of Washington Park is limited. ;Please consider using alternate parking facilities that have been set up for this event. ;A CDTA shuttle bus will be running from 11:00am until 6:00pm on both Saturday, May 7th ;and Sunday, May 8th. ;The bus will make a loop to the following stops where parking is available:
- State Street ;at Henry Johnson Boulevard. ;The bus will stop on the southwest corner on State Street.
- South Pearl Street ;at State Street. ;The bus will stop on the southwest corner on South Pearl Street.
- Madison Avenue ; & ;Eagle Street. ;The bus will stop on the northeast corner on Madison Avenue.
- Elk Street ;at Eagle Street. ;The bus will stop on Elk Street.
- Elk Street ;at North Hawk Street. ;The bus will stop on Elk Street.
Parking for residents is available. The following parking areas are available on the above-mentioned shuttle stop locations:

- East Parking Garage: ;Located at the corner of Madison Avenue and Eagle Street. ;Parking is available starting Friday May 6, 2022 after 4:00pm until Monday May 9, 2022 at 6:00am.
- Cathedral & Museum Visitor Lot: ;Located in the rear of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception on Madison Avenue west of Eagle Street. ;Parking is available on Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th from 2:00pm to 6:00am.
- Elk Street Parking Areas: There are several surface parking areas operated by NYSOGS that are available in this area starting Friday, May 6th ;after 4:00pm until Monday, May 9, 2022 at 6:00am.
All vehicles parked in these areas must be removed by Monday May 9, 2022 at 6:00am
