2024 Police Memorial Event Closures & Restrictions

Please be advised of the following temporary parking restrictions and road closures in Albany, NY for the 2024 Police Memorial Event:
Tuesday, May 7th from 7:00am until 4:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
Eagle Street (Both Sides) from Washington Avenue to Elk Street.
Lodge Street (West Side) from Corning Place to State Street.
Lodge Street (Both Sides) from Pine Street to Steuben Street.
Madison Avenue (North Side) from west of Plaza bridge west to South Swan Street.
Pine Street (Both Sides) from Chapel Street to Lodge Street.
State Street (Both Sides) from South Swan Street east to Empire State Plaza entrance.
Tuesday, May 7th from 7:00am until 4:00pm
Road Closures:
Chapel Street (All Sides) between Pine Street and Columbia Street
Lodge Street (All Sides) between Corning Place and Steuben Street
Pine Street (All Sides) between North Pearl Street and Lodge Street
Steuben Street (All Sides) between Lodge Street and Chapel Street
A procession of police personnel will start around 12:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes. Vehicular traffic will be detoured or held during the procession and motorists should expect delays during this time.
