ALBANY - The Albany Parking Authority is offering a special "Seasonal Savings" rate for new customers at its three downtown parking garages, from January through March 2012. Drivers can park in the Columbia, Green-Hudson or Quackenbush garages for a flat rate of $100 per month for as many as three months.
The "Seasonal Savings" represents a savings of $40 per month and a potential savings of $120 for the winter season, for all new customers. This holiday season, consider the gift of parking.
"As the winter months are upon us we wanted to offer drivers the incentive to save money while also providing convenient and well lit garage parking" said Michael Klein, executive director, Albany Parking Authority. "The three downtown garages are within a two block radius of most downtown destinations, and each winter we see an increase in parking in our garages as drivers take the snow and early sunsets into account. This year we are providing an additional incentive".
If you have interest or have decided to purchase the "Seasonal Parking Savings" send us an email at SeasonalSavings@ParkAlbany.com, so we may follow up with you - there is no commitment at that time. General information is at www.ParkAlbany.com.
New customers can access the "Seasonal Savings" for as little as one month but will see the greatest savings ($120) by parking in the garages for three months. A new customer is defined as someone who has not been a garage customer for more than two years (1/1/2010). The "Seasonal Savings" will be prorated for anyone signing after the 15th of the month.
