Parking Incentive Program
Effective January 1, 2011

These initiatives are intended to stimulate the local economy and provide new businesses moving into Albany and current Albany businesses that are expanding with high quality, lower cost daytime parking:

• Designed to help incent developers and employers to come into downtown Albany by offering discounted garage parking
• Businesses which meet the following criteria will be able to sign longer-term agreements to receive discounts of 50% on the price of parking in APA garages, resulting in a cost of only $70 per month!
  • Criteria that apply to new APA customers:
    • Minimum 1 year and maximum 10 year leases - must commit to long term agreement
    • Minimum of 3 customers for each new corporate account lease
    • May not include previous APA customers (since 1/1/2010) be they corporate accounts or individuals
  • Criteria that apply to current APA customers
    • Minimum 1 year and maximum 10 year leases - must commit to long term agreement
    • No minimum number of additional customers
    • May not include previous APA customers (since 1/1/2010) be they corporate accounts or individuals
    • Applies to existing APA customers when increasing their month-to-month corporate account to levels above their highest number from January 2010 through current date
    • Lower rates apply only to the increment from the highest number, not the pre-existing month-to-month corporate or individual customers.
