The Albany Parking Authority owns and operates three downtown garages.

Columbia Street Garage (#1) - 850 spaces - Phone 434-8750

Located on Columbia Street between Broadway and Water Street
Alternate entry on Maiden Lane from Water Street

Convenient to the:

• Pearl Street restaurants and shopping
• State Street and Broadway office buildings
• U. S. Federal Court House
• State University of New York Administration
• Dormitory Authority of New York State
• New York State Department of Environmental Conservation

Open 24-hours every day, except major national holidays.

Rates	Monthly rates are currently $140.00
Daily:	$3.00 first hour or part
	$2.00 each hour or part thereafter
	$11.00 max if exit before 6PM
Evening:	Entry after 4PM
	$3.00 first hour or part
	$2.00 second hour or part - $5.00 max
	$16.00 24-hour maximum   $5.00 weekend daily maximum

Green-Hudson Garage (#2) - 900 spaces - Phone 434-8998

Located at Hudson Avenue and Green Street

Convenient to the:

• United States Post Office
• Times Union Center
• Pearl Street restaurants and shopping
• State Street and Broadway office buildings

Open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to Midnight - Closed most major holidays
Open some weekend hours for select Times Union Center Events

Rates	Monthly rates are currently $140.00
Daily:	first half-hour free for Post Office visitors only
	$3.00 first hour or part
	$2.00 each hour or part thereafter
	$11.00 max if exit before 6PM
Evening:	Entry after 4PM
	$3.00 first hour or part
	$2.00 each hour or part thereafter - $5.00 max
	$16.00 24-hour maximum
	$5.00 - $10.00 for arena events

Quackenbush Square Garage (#3) - 900 spaces - Phone 689-2352

Located at Broadway and Orange Street

• Albany County Convention and Visitors Center
• Albany County Family Court
• New York State Department of Environmental Conservation

Evening:	Entry after 4 PM

	$ 5.00 for weekend Palace Theater events

CENTRAL AVENUE LOTS

 

 

 

These eight lots are now available for long term parking with an inexpensive monthly permit, with time frames custom tailored to support business and residential access needs. Permits will allow for use of all eight lots on a first-come, first-served space available basis. Just click the link to buy your permit.

The five largest lots will also have "multi-space pay and display" meters - just insert your credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard accepted) or use change to buy a few hours or all day parking.
