The Albany Parking Authority wants to continue to ensure our visitors have the best possible parking experience when visiting downtown Albany and to do so, we operate three 900 space covered parking garages.
The garages are close to the Times Union Center (Green-Hudson), Palace Theatre (Quackenbush) and the Corning Preserve (Columbia).
Refer to the Events Calendar above for information regarding where to park for an event held at the Times Union Center, Palace Theatre and Corning Preserve venues. To use an interactive parking map click on the name of the garage listed for the event you wish to attend.
If you have a handicapped permit you can park in the handicapped spaces. Our three garages have elevators and ramps to accommodate people with disabilities. There are also handicapped-only parking meters on-street.
Park at Green-Hudson Garage
Weekdays
Green-Hudson Garage has two entrances: one at Green St. and Beaver St. and another at Hudson Ave. and Green St. For large events both entrances will be open and patrons pay upon entering the garage, and exit at no charge. This method of collection helps to minimize traffic delays in and out of the parking facility and aids event attendees to exit facilities without having to stop and pay. For smaller events you may Pay on Exit. Green-Hudson Garage opens Monday through Friday from 6am to Midnight.
Saturday and Sunday
Green-Hudson Garage will open on weekends for larger events held at the Times Union Center and you may Pay on Entry. The Hudson entry/exit is always utilized when we open, and for the largest events the Green entry is also used. When Green-Hudson does not open for a Times Union Center event, consider parking at Columbia Garage located at 2 Columbia Street between Broadway and Water St. a few blocks away from the Times Union Center. Columbia Garage is open 24/7 (except major holidays). You may pay on Exit at the Columbia Garage.
Event Parking rates at Green-Hudson Garage are usually $5, $10 or $15 varying by event.
Parking Rates at Columbia Garage on weekends range between $2 and $5.
Park at Quackenbush Garage (behind 677 Prime).
Weekdays
For large events patrons pay upon entering the garage, and exit at no charge. This method of collection helps to minimize traffic delays in and out of the parking facility and aids event attendees to exit facilities without having to stop and pay. For smaller events you may Pay on Exit. Quackenbush Garage is open Monday through Friday from 6am to Midnight.
Saturday and Sunday
Quackenbush Garage will open on weekends for larger events held at the Palace Theatre and you may Pay on Entry. When Quackenbush Garage does not open for a Palace Theatre event, you may park at Quackenbush Lot located behind the Pump Station, and is accessed by turning east on Spencer Street from Broadway, right on Montgomery Street, and then left into the lot. You can also consider parking at Columbia Garage located at 2 Columbia Street between Broadway and Water St. a few blocks away from the Palace Theatre. Columbia Garage is open 24/7 (except major holidays). You may pay on Exit at the Columbia Garage.
Event Parking rates at Quackenbush Garage and Quackenbush Lot are usually $5.
Parking Rates at Columbia Garage on weekends range between $2 and $5.
Park at Columbia Garage. Columbia is the closest garage to the Corning Preserve Stage and it is adjacent to the Pedestrian Bridge.

Columbia Garage is open on weekends. For large events at the Corning Preserve you may Pay on Entry. For smaller events you may pay on Exit. Columbia Garage opens 24/7 (except major holidays).
